WHY START?
As a former rickshaw driver in Tokyo I was able to meet people from around the globe.
Through conversations with customers I realized the challenge that Muslim people encounter when finding food to eat in Japan.
On my first visit to NY I saw a long line wrapped around the corner of 53rd Street and Sixth Avenue in Manhattan that led to a food truck serving Halal food. The amazing aroma filled the streets of NY and people of all walks of life were raving about the delicious food. I felt inspired to introduce this dish to the people in Japan.
With the growing diversity in Japan I’m excited to share a new food experience with the people.
私は浅草にて人力車の仕事をしていました。近年の日本におけるインバウンドが急増する喜びを感じていた反面、ヘルシー指向の欧米人やムスリムの方々が気軽に食べられる食が少ないと困っている姿も目の当たりにしてきました。
その後NYを訪れた際に、長蛇の列を作るキッチンカーを目にしました。そこには人種、文化、宗教の違いを越えた人々が並んでいました。そして何よりも、そこで販売していた「新しいNYのソウルフード」は感動的に美味しかったのです。私は毎日並んで購入し、夢中になって食べるようになっていました。
そして私は日本でこれを広めたい！と強く思うようになり、創業に至りました。
このチキンオーバーライスを1人でも多くの方々にお届けしたい。
「 Tasty, Healthy, Spicy for Everyone」というミッションのもと、今日も奔走してまいります！
